You will want to bring:
Linens. Cottages come equipped with pillows only therefore you will need to bring sleeping bags or sheets, pillowcases, blankets, towels and dish cloths.Calling card and/or cell phone. Remember to bring your charger.Life jackets. You should bring your own. One approved life jacket or PFD is required for each person on board any boating vessel.Pets at the cottage should be kept under control, leashed and clean up after it. Keep your pet OFF the furniture and beds.Fishing licenses and equipmentSun blockSunglassesGames and books for rainy daysLawn chairs Insect spray (A repellent with DEET is recommended by the Ontario Ministry of Health)CameraGroceries (Consider that most cottages only have a small freezer as part of their fridge. Lemieux's Meat & Groceries in Alban (great fresh meat and cheese curds, Foodland in Noelville and more in Sudbury, are available for you to purchase Ice and essentials.

What forms of payment do you accept?We accept e-transfer and cash. 50% deposit. Payment is due on arrival. etransfer email driftwood705@gmail.com please use the password driftwood
Can I check in early?Check in time is 4:00 PM.
Can I check out late?Check out time is 10:00 AM. To ensure the cottage is ready for any incoming guests we ask that you adhere to current check out times. You are welcome to stay at the resort for a couple hours and use the facilities after checking out of your cottage.
What is your cancellation policy?Your deposit will be refunded if cancellation is made a minimum of 60 days prior to your scheduled date of arrival, or if space is resold, subject to a $30.00 cancellation fee. There is no refund for early departure.
Do the cottages have phones?The cottages do not have phones. Guests can also use their own cell phones.Bell has good reception.
Do you have Internet available?Sorry we don't. Customers have been using there cell phones for hot-spots.
Is smoking permitted in the cottages?No smoking is permitted in the cottages.
How is Camp Driftwood wheelchair accessible? Cottages #3 has a wheelchair ramp and all the doorways are 36 inches in width. Guests requiring wheel chairs may need some assistance to enjoy resort facilities because of our roadway is gravel and may be uneven. Seniors generally have no difficulty getting around the camp.
How far are you from Sudbury?Camp Driftwood is located about 70km (45 minute drive).
How far away is the nearest medical facility?Hospital and walk-in clinics are located about 70km (75 minute drive) from Camp Driftwood in the town of Sudbury, Ontario.
Do we need to bring drinking water?All cottages and facilities run off lake water. The water is treated and checked regulary by our local health unit.
